South Somerset - TA14

Residential off-grid Community

Tinker's Bubbble is a residential off-grid community who work 40 acres of
organically-certified land in South Somerset without using fossil fuels.
Land use includes forestry, top-fruit, grazing, and small-scale
vegetable growing and dairy with a focus on producing what is needed as a
community, and there is scope for various small scale land-based
enterprises alongside the communally-run apple pressing and sawmilling.

People can join the Tinker's Bubble community for short or long term stays, with

long-termers joining the resident group in taking responsibility for the community
and the land. Applicants would live on site, participate in community
activities including cooking and management meetings, and sign up to a
residents agreement, which includes maintaining social and

DEVON - EX15

1-3 acres

1-3 acres of almost level and south facing land on offer for small-scale horticultural production. The land has not had any chemical inputs over the past 10 years and is currently used for vegetable production. Not suitable for livestock due to young orchard, but could have potential for poultry as part of a wider integrated system. The landowner is open to ideas of enterprises that use regenerative practices which could include forest school, vegetable growing, micro dairy, chickens, pigs or fruit growing. An initial lease of 1 year will be offered and then a 5 year lease thereafter. A business plan, CV and covering letter is requested as an application.

Devon - PL5

Under 1 hectare

A south and west facing parcel of land sitting wtihin a wider farm estate. The land is virtually flat and is suitable for small-scale horticultural production with the benefit of potential for use of polytunnels already on site. The land had both organic and non-organic inputs, but virtually no chemicals put on the land at all.

The landowner hopes for long term arrangement and for the land seeker to care for the land and soil to the best of their ability. There is mains water, parking and toilet facilities available and also potential for barn space as well.
